Testing a Nissan Leaf, Before It Sells

There are many steps an award winning Japanese auto maker takes before distributing best in class new Nissan vehicles to the world. Whether you're shopping for a rugged Nissan Altima or maybe a fuel efficient Nissan Leaf, rest assured it went through a slew of testing. Not convinced? Nissan PR is out to prove it to all.

Speaking of 2012's Leaf, the staff at Weston Nissan in Davie, Florida is constantly ordering more…

The theme of this year's Earth Day? "Mobilize." One of the main events? The CO2 E Drive, a collection of all of the latest and greatest environmentally friendly vehicles, all of which drove through Manhattan, New York before they met up in Times Square for a 'runway show' of technology. And Weston Nissan was pretty psyched to see the LEAF steal the show - but we weren't surprised in the least, considering the fact…

Though the Nissan LEAF may have been the first of its kind of hit dealership lots around the nation, the gap between the LEAF and competing EVs is narrowing by the day. With the rate of market growth and the demand for electric vehicles on high the competition is fierce. But Nissan has shown no intention of just sitting back and watching their beloved LEAF fall by the wayside. In fact, they are already one…

A Truck You Can Count On, From Nissan

Dependability has always been at the forefront of Nissan's pickup truck line-up. We've always been firm supporters of this fact. And now we have the proof on our side to back up the statement! As it just so happens, the 2012 Nissan Frontier recently topped the charts in J.D. Power and Associates annual study of vehicle dependability, beating out both the Ford Ranger and the Honda Ridgeline.

And as if that isn…

Three-point-seven-seconds...

Just 3.7 seconds. That is the amount of time it takes for the Nissan JUKE-R to reach 62 miles per hour (mph). And that's only the tip of the iceberg for this race-car inspired Nissan. Based on the 2012 Nissan JUKE frame, the JUKE-R sits just a little bit lower and boasts a maximum speed of 160 mph. In short, the ultra-stealthy looking JUKE-R means business.

The question on many skeptics minds…

At Weston Nissan, we know there's no such thing as simple or casual maintenance. We are, after all, dealing with your vehicle. That's why we treat it as if it were one of our own, whether you bought it from us or not. Still, there are aspects of maintaining your ride that even the experts at our dedicated Ft Lauderdale vehicle service center can't cover at all times. And that's where…

Nissan Americas announced a $2.5-million contribution to international non-profit Habitat for Humanity last week, inviting all of its stakeholders to collaborate in the alliance. With the goal of enticing at least a few Nissan consumers to donate a little bit of their time to the cause of providing homes to the less fortunate, the automaker is going well beyond financial support. They plan to promote Habitat for Humanity in all of their point-of-sales materials…

Drivers in search of cutting-edge innovation and extreme safety are often drawn to the Nissan Versa. And, Weston Nissan, is happy to tell you, Nissan has outdone themselves with the 2012 model slated to hit showroom floors late this summer.

Built on Nissan's new small-car V platform, the 2012 Nissan Versa has 20 percent fewer parts compared to last year's B platform, making it 150 pounds lighter. As you can imagine, this, along…
